Tirupati Graphite PLC (LSE:TGR, OTCQX:TGRHF) CEO Shishir Poddar speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive London to address the recent suspension of the company's shares, explaining that it was a result of a slight delay in the release of the specialist graphite and graphene company's annual accounts.
Poddar assures investors that the delay was merely a procedural matter and not indicative of any internal issues. The company has now released its audited final results for the year ended 31 March 2023 (FY23). He says that Tirupati Graphite is fully focused on its goal of becoming a world-leading flake graphite company and adds that in the past year it has achieved significant milestones, including reaching 30,000-tonnes of capacity in Madagascar and completing the acquisition of Sunni Resources.
The company has also ramped up production, with a notable 70% increase in graphite sales during the first three months of this year compared to the previous year. Looking ahead, Poddar emphasises that the company's growth and development will continue to be shared with the market. Tirupati Graphite sees itself as a fast-growing company in the critical materials space, with various opportunities in sight. Despite challenging market conditions, the company's experience and strong industry connections give them confidence in their ability to deliver.
